·     Mixed-age classes    - We specialize in mixed-age classes, for a reason:  Research shows that young children learn best in mixed-age settings.  Mixed-age classes create a family atmosphere, let children progress at their own rate, and let siblings share the class experience.  Music Together was the first early childhood music program to offer mixed-age classes.


·     20 years of research    - The Music Together curriculum is built on continuing research at the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ.  Songs and activities are chosen to provide a wide variety of tonalities, rhythms, and learning experiences.   Music Together classes teach young children the way they learn best - through play and exploration, in the company of adults they love.


·     Family fun!    - Music Together classes teach children basic music skills, but they’re designed to be fun for grownups too. You don’t have to be musically skilled to enjoy the classes.  Parents and caregivers love the relaxed atmosphere that lets grownups as well as children enjoy musical play - many parents say it‘s a high point of their week!  Tuition includes cds and a beautifully illustrated songbook with activities to enjoy with your child at home - at bedtimes, bath times, and just having-fun times.


 
Every child has their own style!

Some children learn by sitting and watching, and some learn through active movement.  Some children feel most comfortable learning from within the comfort of a parent’s lap - and some children dive right into a new activity.   Music Together classes accommodate all of these learning styles.
