Immanuel United Church of Christ is a church that is engaged in "Community – In all that we do we provide a safe, encouraging environment in which we embrace and value all persons as they are and as they strive to be, and share Christ’s warmth, joy, love and acceptance in times of need and celebration."

The church is centrally located in the Highlands, near the intersection of Taylorsville Road and Bardstown Road. Enter directly into the classroom via either set of stairs from the parking lots to the Fellowship Hall, or through the side handicapped parking entrance to the elevator for accessability needs. 

From Bardstown Rd

If you're heading east (away from downtown): Turn left on Taylorsville Road, Church is on the right. 

From the East End of Louisville:

Take the Watterson Expressway (I-264W) to the Taylorsville Road North Exit. Pass Bowman Field towards Bardstown Road. Church is on the left.

From the South End:

Take the Watterson Expressway (I-264E) to the Bardstown Rd exit, and turn north on Bardstown Rd, towards downtown. Turn left on Taylorsville Road, Church is on the right.

From Southern Indiana:

Take I-64 East to the Grinstead Dr. exit. Turn right onto Grinstead; you'll pass Lexington Ave, Cherokee Parkway, and Cherokee Rd. At Bardstown Rd (stoplight), turn left. Follow Bardstown Road, turn left on Taylorsville Road, Church is on the right.

Parking and classroom location:

You may park in either of the church parking lots, or there is street parking across from the church. Enter directly into the classroom via either set of stairs from the parking lots to the Fellowship Hall, or through the side handicapped parking entrance to the elevator for accessability needs. On Saturday, it is important to follow these instructions and not use the Main Parking building entrance as to protect the identity of AA meeting particpants.
