One of my dreams for Heartland Music Together is to become a point of connection in Louisville. I want to help build a community - not just a community of music-makers, but also a community of families, family-friendly businesses and organizations, and good-hearted people.
One of my goals for this fall is to help families and family-friendly businesses/ organizations find each other. As I'm putting together my parent information packets this fall, would you like me to enclose information about your own business or service?
Here's the fine print:
I'll enclose your brochure in a special community connections insert that will be included in the parent materials package that every enrolled family will receive. If you don't have a brochure, send me your business card. If you want, you can staple your card to an additional sheet describing your work in more detail, offering a coupon, etc. I’m projecting an enrollment of 150 families, so please send 150 copies of whatever you’d like to share.
There's no charge for this service, but in return, I would be grateful to have you share the word about Heartland Music Together with your clients or customers. You can do this by posting my fliers at your place of business, posting a wall poster, or by enclosing my brochures in your own handout materials.
What's a family-friendly business or service? I'm thinking in terms of a product or service that enhances the lives of parents or young children, in areas of health, education and learning, family relationships, or recreation. For example, some people in the Music Together® community offer nutritional supplements, and natural baby foods. Some people create scrapbooks and teach others how to scrapbook. Some people teach yoga. One community member teaches sign language for babies and parents. Several are children's therapists with First Steps: others are doulas, midwives, or lactation consultants. Our community is very talented!
The final decision about inclusion rests with me. If you’ve already shared advertising with me, you’re welcome to do so again. If you're not sure if your business or service is a good fit, give me a call!
I'll be putting together my fall family materials in the next two weeks, so if you'd like to participate, please let me know as soon as possible, and let me know how many brochures or wall posters I can send your way. You can contact me by phone at (502) 491-3131, or by email.
Thanks for being a part of this Music Together community! I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
