Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, created in 1987 by co-authors Ken Guilmartin and Lili Levinowitz. The curriculum, based on extensive, ongoing research at the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey, teaches young children the way they learn best - through play and exploration, in the company of adults they love. Music Together classes are a place where young children can develop their musical skills through playing, singing, moving, and exploring music, in a fun, non-pressured, and developmentally appropriate environment.
Every child has their own style
Some children learn by sitting and watching, and some learn through active movement. Some children feel most comfortable learning from within the comfort of a parent’s lap - and some children dive right into a new activity. Music Together classes accommodate all of these learning styles. With a mix of songs and activities in every class, each child is encouraged to participate in the way that works best for them. Mixed-age classes let siblings participate together, and create a family atmosphere in class. Grandparents and other caregivers are always welcome!

Music Together classes teach children basic music skills, but they’re designed to be fun for grownups too. You don’t have to be musically skilled to enjoy the classes. Parents and caregivers love the relaxed atmosphere that lets grownups as well as children enjoy musical play - many parents say it‘s a high point of their week! Tuition includes cds and a beautifully illustrated songbook with activities to enjoy with your child at home - at bedtimes, bath times, and just having-fun times.
